Which states does propkt support tenancy agreements for?
New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia - the five mainland jurisdictions covering the large majority of Australian rental properties. Each state generates on its own prescribed or standard form.
Does propkt produce Queensland's Form 18a?
Yes. For Queensland tenancies propkt generates Form 18a, General Tenancy Agreement, the form prescribed by the Residential Tenancies Authority. The fields map from the wizard answers straight onto the form.
Is the generated agreement legally valid?
propkt reproduces your state's prescribed or standard form with your details filled in, plus the disclosures the law requires. The agreement is valid once correctly completed and signed by all parties, like any paper equivalent. It is not legal advice - unusual arrangements may need a professional review.
